Extra Curricular
We offer a variety of extra curricular activites for children, including French, dance and rugby. Please see below for more details.
At Little Foxes we are very pleased to be able to organise trips out for the children. The children regularly visit local places such as Jubilee Lake, Lydiard Park and Blooms Garden Centre all of which are free of charge. We also regularly visit St Michael's and All Angels Church in Brinkworth, as well as local farms to learn all about the animals and see them in their environment.
We take an annual trip to the Christmas pantomime at the Theatre Royal in Bath/Wyvern theatre in Swindon, as well as many performances throughout the year at The Egg Theatre in Bath.
All trips are priced dependent on the destination.
We have a regular visit from our hairdresser Cheryl who comes in to cut the children's hair, prices are dependent on the length of your child's hair.
French
We offer French Conversation Classes with Madame Carole Drapeau on a Thursday afternoon. The children learn the basics of the language via conversation, songs and movement.
Lessons are charged at £16 per term for term-time children or £8.50 per month for full-time children.
Children also enjoy a French-inspired menu for their meals on a Thursday which has proven to be very popular!
Dance
Our dance teacher Miss Kate visits us on a Wednesday morning to take lessons with our older toddlers, Nursery School and Pre-Prep children.
Dance is a fantastic way of teaching co-ordination, movement and strength, whilst building confidence and expressive skills.
Lessons are charged at £25 per term for term-time only children, or £12.50 per month for full-time children.
Rugby
Our toddlers, Nursery School and Pre-Prep children have the opportunity to play rugby at Little Foxes with one of our qualified staff members.
Children play rugby in the meadow, learning basic skills and practice their hand-eye co-ordination as well as team-building skills.
Rugby takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays and is £16 per month for term-time only children or £8.50 per month for full-time children.
